I like the black and white version much more. It has a very classic and vintage look, with a very relevant message that can pull in the demographic you are going for. I don't mind the color stripes on the other but wish that it didn't run into the background. I love the way you used found imagery from a period of time similar to ours. The choice of pie charts resonates well with the shape of the pin. Maybe there could be more attenion paid to the typography and the way the information is divided into seperate lines, but in general I feel it works and the composition is well balanced. I also get the point of your poster, it's very straight forward.
